This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
